Landscape Photography - Stunning Italian Sunrise

A stunning sunrise over the city of Como in Italy meant that I had a fantastic landscape photography shoot, capturing the vivid pinks of a glorious sunrise! The whole landscape was painted in a pink hue that made the hike up, early in the morning worth every step. A series of images of the city illuminated and bathed in pink light.

Amazing Sunrise and Night Shots in Como

I went straight to photograph the Temple Volta in the Park in Como, Italy today. I knew I wanted to get some landscape photography done with this temple as my subject both illuminated at night and with some natural light. The night images had to be created using exposure blending in Photoshop, but turned out brilliant. And I was treated to a very colourful sunrise!

Loch Insh gave me 3 golden landscapes, illuminating the forests on the banks of the loch. But my favourite image was from Loch Alvie, the church and reflections in the golden light was perfect!

Sunrise at the Lily Loch

I knew then that I wanted to photograph this lily loch during a colourful sunrise. Fast forward a while and I return to the loch in the autumn to finally photograph it with a beautiful sunrise.
