Guest Post for DRL Photography

If you would like to be a featured author in the article section of DRL Photography, please use the form to the left to submit your article idea after reading the terms and conditions.

What we are looking for…

• Tips, advice, techniques and general conversations about photography for beginners, amateurs and professionals

• The articles can be about anything photography related including location guides, technical details, post processing methods, gear reviews, but articles focusing on nature, creativity and techniques are highly regarded

• Good quality photos that are the intellectual property of the writer and which can feature a custom watermark normally used by the writer, the images provided will remain the intellectual property of the writer and can be used as they wish elsewhere

• Preferably long enough to fully explain the technique/idea you are discussing, so a minimum of 1,000 words and a maximum of 3,000 words

• The written content of the post should be original content that won’t be published elsewhere and is not plagiarised from somewhere or someone else, and will be available on this website indefinitely

• Once your article idea is approved, along with the full article and images, please submit a photo of yourself with a short description about yourself and any social media profiles you would like linked in the about author box at the bottom of the article

• As well as the author byline you can have one backlink within the main text of the article, if it relates to something relevant on your website

• Your article may be edited slightly before publishing, if you have any issues with the published article please get in contact to discuss your reservations

• Unfortunately affiliate links and content upgrades are not currently allowed, but the link to your own website may be to a content upgrade lead page if you wish

• Guest posting can lead to becoming a Contributor who gets paid for regular article submissions, after a few guest posts have been published on your behalf, if you promote them on social media and generate traffic, then you will be asked to become a contributor with a regular article deadline and for which you shall be paid for each published article
