Just a bit of fun and there’s some advice about photography right at the end, I hope you enjoy this video and look forward to better times. In 2014 I went to Dublin for a city break around St Patrick’s Day, the parade through the city centre was dazzling and fun and full of colour and life, the complete opposite to this year. I am working through all of my photography archives, removing the bad images and selecting everything that is in focus and I found myself looking through and editing photos of that day in 2014 on St Patrick’s Day 2021.
Fed up with staying in the apartment, I decided to scout out some new landscape photography locations by hiking the hill from Como to Brunate. The view from the villages were fantastic and I was able to think about an image that I would like to get in the future…
Struggling with photography block, unable to pick up my camera and feeling unmotivated to take pictures, I gave myself a challenge to spend one week with one lens: my canon 50mm f1.8. I had to explore different styles of photography, including street and documentary photography. Everyday I went out and took some pictures, let’s see how that went…
